SURVEY 2011

MAUD RETURNS HOME SURVEY 2011

During our 3 weeks visit to Cambridge Bay, Nunavut in August 2011 “Maud” was surveyed extensively over and under the water both with still photographs as well as film. This material has become invaluable for us both with regards to the development process for a future Maud Museum, but most of all this material has helped us come to the conclusion that Maud is still in a satisfying technical state to be saved, despite having spent the last 80 years at the seabed.

In this picture gallery you will find both detailed close-ups of Maud as well as overall pictures all taken during our Survey August 2011.All pictures are taken by Dag Leslie Hansen and Jan Wanggaard and can be used free on the net,
